The Independent launched a new daily newspaper titled "i", "designed for people with busy, modern lives". Though I personally feel I have enough news sources in my life already, I picked up a copy to check out the design and content. It's higher image to copy ratio appeals to my impatient design eye more than other newspapers. The fact it costs 20p however, encourages readers to invest more time in consuming the contents.

On another note, while browsing the newspaper stand at WHSmith's in Victoria station, the normal Independent newspaper seriously stood out as the nicest designed newspaper of the lot.
