Film and Video Umbrella curates and produces film, video and new media projects by artists who are commissioned and presented in collaboration with galleries and venues across England.
With over 15 years of heritage and a manually updated site, their online strategy needed to be updated and they came to Kibook to create a new system.
We introduced a nice, clean layout with a little colour coding for different areas, efficient search, categorisation of all projects (and accompanying publications) by artists, titles, dates and venues, and included a calendar system to present access to projects and events over time.

The multi-level-access admin system allows FVU to update all areas of the site and lets them send out e-bulletins, and manage an internal staff diary.
That's not all - since the site launched in 2005, there have been a number of updates including facilitating a series of possible icons for each project (allowing visitors to download pdf's, Word docs and view media and weblinks) and an additional "FVU Recommends" to highlight particular projects.
Aside from enjoying perusing the work FVU commission and which subsequently needed to go onto the site, they were really nice clients to work with, who we have since collaborated with on other projects.
