Interests

British Chinese Culture

As a core member of the British Chinese Project, I work to help integrate more British Chinese people into politics.

The project was founded by a prominent Chinese Solicitor, Christine Lee and is supported by the UK Chinese Embassy, representatives from the House of Lords and the House of Commons, and a variety of different organisations and Chinese community groups.

I developed the website : VisibleChinese.com
which is a guide and directory of Chinese Achievers and Ambassadors of Chinese Culture in the UK.

I am also learning to speak/listen to Mandarin and read/write Simplified Chinese. (I have a working knowledge of spoken Cantonese.)

Blogging

I created and maintain the following websites, out of personal interest:

OneInchPunch.net
A visual and link driven blog showcasing an edited selection of East-Asian inspired content.
Powered by a Wordpress CMS with highly customised templates.

VisualStreak.com
A personal reference blog to document the best ideas and sources of inspiration.
Powered by a Wordpress CMS with a clean, highly optimised template.

Martial Arts

I've had a life-long interest in Chinese Martial Arts. Studied Chin Woo Kung Fu and Modern Wushu at the British Institute for Chinese Martial Arts and other styles, from an early age.

Won Bronze Medal in the 2002 BCCMA National Championships in the Traditional Short Weapons (Broadsword) category.

Archery

Currently shooting recurve archery with Malden Bowmen in South London, since December 2004, reaching Second Class standard.
